Blackmagic Cloud Backup 8

Blackmagic Cloud Backup 8 is a large 8-bay hard disk dock that lets you back up large media files to low-cost computer hard disks over a 10G Ethernet network. You can also sync files globally using Blackmagic Cloud, plus view all storage, connection, and sync activity in real time on a display connected to the HDMI monitor port. Blackmagic Cloud Backup 8 includes 4 x 10G Ethernet for network sharing, an Ethernet over USB-C port, and an internal power supply in an elegant rack mount design, making it ideal for installing in a studio alongside other network equipment.

Blackmagic Cloud Backup 8 syncs seamlessly with Blackmagic Cloud, automatically backing up and managing collaborative DaVinci Resolve projects. Users maintain full control over their data, eliminating subscription fees or third-party cloud services. The built-in HDMI output connects to a TV or monitor, showing real-time storage status, disk usage, and data transfer activity in clear graphics.

Setup and management of the Cloud Backup system are simple using the included Blackmagic Cloud Backup utility software, compatible with both Mac and Windows. Users can easily configure the device without IT assistance or connect multiple units for expanded storage and performance.
