Designed for the Desktop — Engineered for Professionals

HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro

Tailored for desktop use, the HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro introduces an ergonomic, angled design with a large 7-inch HDR touchscreen display and classic broadcast-style physical controls. This allows users to effortlessly cue clips, scrub through footage with the machined metal search dial, and manage their media in real time—all with one hand.

Integrated playback buttons and a mini timeline make clip navigation intuitive, while the touchscreen offers fast access to settings, 3D LUT loading, scopes, and focus tools.

Advanced Recording & Playback — All in One Device

HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro supports Apple ProRes, DNx, H.264, and H.265 recording in resolutions up to Ultra HD 2160p60, making it ideal for live production, post workflows, or even as a long-form media player.

Key features include:

  • 12G-SDI and HDMI 4K video I/O

  • 10G Ethernet for fast file transfers and remote operation

  • Internal M.2 storage, making it a built-in network storage server

  • Simultaneous recording and editing via DaVinci Resolve integration

  • Support for ExFAT and HFS+ file systems for cross-platform compatibility

Broadcast Ready with Built-In Scopes and HDR

This HyperDeck doesn't just record and play—it monitors and analyzes, too. With waveform, vectorscope, RGB/YUV parade, and histogram overlays, users can ensure compliance with broadcast standards right on the unit. And thanks to its HDR-ready display, it supports Rec.709, Rec.2020, DCI-P3, PQ, and HLG, delivering rich and accurate visuals both for SDR and HDR workflows.

Shared Workflows and Cloud Collaboration

What truly sets the HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro apart is its role in collaborative environments. With its built-in 10G network storage, editors, colorists, and VFX teams can all access media in real time. When synced with Blackmagic Cloud, even global teams can collaborate instantly—with H.265 proxy files syncing live during recording sessions.

Enhanced Metadata and Slate Integration

A smart digital slate makes metadata entry fast and simple. Incrementing take numbers, reel tracking, and scene tagging are all supported—seamlessly carried into post-production with DaVinci Resolve’s source tape view.

Powerful, Flexible, and Ready for Production

The HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro supports a broad range of formats including:

  • NTSC, PAL

  • 720p50/59.94, 1080p up to 60, 1080i50/59.94, 1080PsF

  • Ultra HD: 2160p23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 50, 59.94, 60

  • Level A and B 3G-SDI support

Its robust connection options include USB-C for external drives, a 12V DC power input, and SD/UHS-II card support.

"This is the most powerful HyperDeck we have released," said Grant Petty, CEO of Blackmagic Design. "Customers can use it as a master recorder and clip player for live production, but it can also be the centre of an on-set recording and storage workflow with multiple editors and colorists collaborating and grading on set."
