High-Performance PTZ Camera
The AW-UE160 PTZ camera has a rear panel tally lamp, two XLR audio output channels, and return input and high-speed shooting, which are essential for establishing a combined system with a system camera. It is the first remote camera to support SMPTE ST2110 and a 5G router (USB tethering compatible). The remote camera's ability to independently set locations and angles and characteristics comparable to system cameras enable unique and fresh visual expression.
Superior Connectivity
The AW-UE160 outputs 12G-SDI, optical fiber, HDMI, 3G-SDI, and IP. Audio input through two XLR channels. The output method can be chosen to suit the operation, making it straightforward to add to an existing imaging system or construct a site-specific solution. The video output technique is unrestricted even when outputting from several terminals, allowing simultaneous 4K operation. For instance, a system can have three primary lines (12G-SDI), one for confirmation (3G-SDI OUT1), and one for monitor display (3G-SDI OUT2).
NDI and ST 2110 Workflow Flexibility
NDI and NDI|HX are seamlessly integrated into this PTZ camera, allowing you to easily transmit high-quality video over your IP network. Additionally, an optional ST 2110 feature, along with efficient capture and return video capabilities, makes this camera a top choice for sports capture.
Image Processing Engine
The Panasonic AW-UE160 PTZ camera employs the LUMIX GH6's image processing engine, which is more powerful. High-pixel image data from the 1-type (1") (effective size) MOS sensor, which balances depth of field, picture quality, and sensitivity, is processed quickly to increase S/N ratio. Through speedier computations and enhanced AF algorithms, subject detection has improved, and extremely accurate AF is obtained by distinguishing subject movement and characteristics. High video processing performance, resolution, sensitivity, and color reproduction allow for more original video expression without compromising your devotion to video image creation.
Phase Detection Autofocus
The AW-innovative UE160's AF system combines phase detection and contrast AF (contrast detection). Whether concentrating on a moving topic or many subjects, the PTZ camera's fast focusing speed and great precision allow it to track and capture in-focus photos.
AR/VR Positioning with FreeD Protocol
Accurate camera positioning data is needed to use VR or AR studio sets in live productions. The FreeD protocol allows the AW-UE160 to output Pan/Tilt/Zoom/Iris data straight to your tracking system via Serial (RS 422) and IP (UDP). Most virtual set systems, including Brainstorm, Ross UX XPERIENCE / Xpression, The Future Group Pixotope, Vizrt Viz Virtual Studio, and Zero Density, support the FreeD protocol. Robotic camera systems can be integrated into virtual studios/sets without encoders using the UE160's FreeD command.
Reduction (OLPF)
Integrated Optical Low Pass Filter in Panasonic AW-UE160 (OLPF). This feature addresses moiré, a major issue with popular LED walls. Moiré is the difference between image light and LED gap darkness. Our optical OLPF feature blocks high-frequency information and smooths the surface area for high-quality video output.
Low-Light Performance
F14/2000 lx's high sensitivity lets it capture excellent, clean photographs of moving subjects in dimly light stages and live settings. The situation and location determine the sensitivity setting: Normal or Low Light.
