A sleek four rack unit design houses 80 12G-SDI inputs with LEDs on each BNC indicating an SDI signal as well as 80 12G-SDI outputs, redundant power, and reference connections. The big full HD LCD clearly shows routing labels and video standards while allowing you to view video prior to routing. Direct button selection and the huge spin knob control, which features an electronic clutch, can be used for routing. Additionally, it has external Ethernet control, SDI re-clocking, and supports all SDI video standards up to 2160p60.
The Videohub 80x80 12G-SDI router lets you connect all of your devices without making a complicated cable mess! In order to connect and route any combination of SD, HD, and Ultra HD on the same router at the same time, 12G-SDI is supported by Blackmagic Videohub routers. Additionally, they have no latency, making them ideal for live production and broadcast. An exquisite front panel with an LCD for labels and even live video, shortcut buttons, and a machined metal spin knob with a soft rubber covering are all part of the design. This knob allows you to browse video sources. Ethernet is also provided so you can use a variety of external hardware or software control panels to remotely control the router.

Because you can put all of your SDI equipment into the router with the Blackmagic Videohub 12G and then make connections electronically, cable clutter is eliminated! You can link any video input to any video output in your studio, or even a single video input to numerous video outputs, so you don't need complicated system schematics. This implies that any studio source can be seen on the monitors! You get complete adaptability to deal with ongoing change or even emergencies. It enables redundancy mastering using multiple HyperDeck recordings. Alternately, video can be directed to numerous streaming processors for all broadcast platforms. Additionally fantastic for adding extra inputs to an ATEM switcher is Blackmagic Videohub 80x80 12G!
With a built in LCD, Blackmagic Videohub 12G can show customers live video of all their router inputs. This means customers can see all router inputs as live video before customers change a route. There are also labels displayed below the live video to make it easy to identify the input customers are viewing. What this means is customers can scroll up and down the router sources in alphabetical order and see each input as live video, even if the inputs are different video standards. Imagine scrolling through their connections while viewing them as live video on the LCD. Plus in portable equipment racks where space is limited, the visual routing means customers can see video inputs without adding an external SDI monitor.
Videohub includes built in SDI re-clocking on every 12G-SDI input. SDI re-clocking regenerates the video signal for maximum video quality. This is extremely important because longer video cables degrade the signal. Expensive premium "digital" cables can help a little, but still cannot eliminate signal integrity loss due to cable lengths getting longer. With SDI re-clocking all of the SDI devices in their studio receive a regenerated signal with improved jitter performance. That means longer cable lengths, and no drop outs in their video.
