Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 17K 65 + EVF is a revolution in digital film with an extremely large format 17520 x 8040 65mm RGBW sensor with larger photo-sites for 16 stops of dynamic range.

A brand-new 17K sensor
A new 65mm sensor in the URSA Cine 17K 65 camera produces high-quality images at all resolutions, from 4K to an impressive 17K. With a dynamic range of 16 stops, the larger sensor expands upon the URSA Mini Pro 12K technology. To produce vibrant colors at all resolutions, the RGBW architecture uses an equal number of red, green, and blue pixels.

Options for Storage
By making it easier and faster to begin editing and color correction, Blackmagic Media Dock speeds up the post-production workflow. For simultaneous high-speed access to media from several URSA Cine cameras, you can install up to three Blackmagic Media Modules.
Customers can record more than four hours of Blackmagic RAW in 17K using the full 65mm sensor aperture or up to 20 hours in 4K with the URSA Cine 17K, which records to the included Blackmagic Media Module 8TB. The optional Blackmagic Media Module CF, which has two CFexpress slots, is also available to customers.

Integrated Cloud Storage
Customers can record for hours at the highest resolutions and frame rates with the URSA Cine 17K's integrated ultra-fast Cloud Store technology, and they can access their files directly over fast 10G Ethernet. Their media is available back at the studio in real time because it allows them to create a small H.264 proxy file in addition to the camera's original media for upload to Blackmagic Cloud in a matter of seconds.

Lens Selections
The camera body comes with a PL lens mount that can be swapped out for optional PL, LPL, EF, and Hasselblad mounts. The camera comes with an active Hasselblad HC lens mount that can be used with medium-format still lenses. Contact pins on each mount allow for the reading of lens metadata for post-production and monitoring.

Integrated OLPF
A high-performance optical low-pass filter that is specifically matched to the sensor is included with the camera. When paired with Blackmagic RAW processing for the URSA Cine 17K, the OLPF's enhanced far red color response and updated IR filtering preserve color and important image details, resulting in unprecedented levels of image fidelity.

Options for Monitoring
On one side is an external color status LCD, and on the other is a sizable foldout 5" HDR touchscreen monitor. The crew can work around the camera without requiring external monitors thanks to the additional 5" HDR touchscreen. To assist clients in achieving optimal focus, there is even a special focus puller mode. The optional Blackmagic URSA Cine EVF is compatible with the URSA Cine 17K, making handheld and outdoor photography simple and accurate.

Control and Accessory Ports
The camera's 3-pin Fischer and 7-pin LEMO connectors on the front offer 24V power and record start/stop capabilities, making them perfect for onboard accessories like focus motors.

Options for Streaming
With its hardware streaming engine, which supports RTMP and SRT streaming to popular platforms or straight to clients, you can live stream straight from the camera. Just use Ethernet, fast Wi-Fi, or even a 4G or 5G connection for mobile data to access the internet.

Ample Power
You can power your camera using either new or existing methods because the camera's 8-pin LEMO connector on the back works with both 12V and 24V power supplies. Customers can use a variety of high-voltage batteries from manufacturers like IDX, Blueshape, Core SWX, BEBOB, and others because the camera comes with a 250W power supply and a B-mount battery plate. Additionally, the camera has a 12-volt, two-pin LEMO output on the back for lower-voltage accessories.

Versatile Body Design
The sturdy magnesium alloy chassis and lightweight carbon fiber polycarbonate composite skin of the evenly weighted camera body allow users to move around the set more rapidly.

Complete Base Package
Each camera and its accessories are packaged in a sturdy Pelican case made of specially cut foam. A 24V power supply, a baseplate, antennas for high-speed Wi-Fi, and a top handle are also included.
