The Blackmagic HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro 2TB is a desktop video recorder and media player. It records and plays video in H.264, H.265, Apple ProRes, and DNx formats. It supports SD, HD, and Ultra HD video up to 2160p60.
The HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro 2TB has a 7-inch touchscreen that shows video, audio levels, and other status information. You can also use it to view scopes and adjust settings. The front panel includes standard broadcast controls and a large dial for fast scrolling.
The advanced HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro includes the latest 12G-SDI and HDMI 4K video connections. Standard-definition support includes NTSC and PAL. 720p HD standards include 720p50 and 59.94p. 1080i HD interlaced standards include 1080i50 and 1080i59.94. 1080p HD television standards include 1080p23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94, and 60p. HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro even handles 1080 PsF formats. 12G-SDI and HDMI 4K also handle Ultra HD in all television standards, including 2160p23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 50, 59.94, and 60p. SDI also supports both level A and level B when working in 3G-SDI rates.
You can record to 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe card for cache recording up to 16Gb/s included or to network storage. Editors and colorists can access media over the network while recording is in progress. It also works with Blackmagic Cloud and DaVinci Resolve for remote editing via extremely fast 10G Ethernet.
This HyperDeck includes tools for HDR monitoring, waveform, vector, RGB parade, and histogram. It supports both Rec. 709 and Rec. 2020 color. The system uses Blackmagic OS, which gives quick startup and menu access through the touchscreen.
You can enter metadata using the built-in digital slate. The system supports long-form recording and large files. You can trigger recording and playback over the network using standard protocols.
