The Panasonic AW-HN40H 30x Zoom HD PTZ Camera with NDI is a fully integrated robotic camera with IP-based live production delivering full HD video directly to NDI-compatible systems, devices, and applications such as NewTek TriCaster, NewTek’s IP Series, Livestream Studio, OBS, Streamstar, Wirecast, vMix, Panasonic AV-HLC100 NDI Switcher, and all other NDI 2.0 or higher enable products. Using POE+ technology with just a single RJ-45 cable, the camera can output Video/Audio, Control, Power, and Tally across your existing network infrastructure.

The Panasonic AW-HN40H camera is designed to produce great results in a variety of applications that require high-quality video and precise control-such as conference video, event capture, staging, distance learning, and houses-of-worship. Thanks to their precision 30X optical zoom lenses, wide field of view, smooth PTZ functions, and exceptional image quality, HN40H cameras are ideal for demanding remote production and IMAG use. With IP-Preview transmission and control, and support for PoE+ (which allows power to be supplied via a LAN cable), the HN40H also offers the flexibility needed for easy installation and management. The HN40H includes many innovative standard features developed to expand the capabilities of professional video system users. In addition to Panasonic's Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS) and advanced Digital Noise Reduction (DNR), an ingenious High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode helps to produce very good video even in extreme contrast and lighting conditions. For shooting in virtually total darkness, the HN40H's Night Mode makes it possible to automatically switch to the capture of high-quality, HD monochrome video with the use of an (optional) IR illuminator in the 850nm range, making the camera ideal for reality show production, sleep lab research and staging support.

NDI version 3 has dramatically improved on an already simple workflow with SDK enhancements that improve encoding performance, multicast support with FEC (Forward Error Correction), standardized PTZ control commands and tally, and the addition of the High-Efficiency Mode, NDI|HX, which allows hardware converters and cameras to enter the NDI world.
